4 quick changes that you can support reasonable portion sizes:


  1. Move your larger dinnerware up to the top shelf and keep your smaller plates, bowls and glasses within easy reach.

    Less food will look like more on smaller plates.

  2. Keep your food scale out on the counter and easy to use. Weigh your protein portion.


  3. Serve your food buffet style instead of family style. Instead of reaching across the table for the extra helping, you will be more aware if you have to go to the kitchen to get another scoop.

  4. Use measuring spoons and ladles for serving utensils. You will easily know exactly how much you put on your plate.
