What's in a Number

I ask you this question in relation to your goal weight (or your jean size). Why that number and not another? Is that number realistic? What vision does it bring with it? What will your life be like when that magic number is reached? Will that number express how much healthier you are?



Where does that number come from? From your high school weight? From the BMI chart? From your doctor? From experience?


This week consider other numbers.

  • How many times did you laugh or smile?

  • Did you get more steps in today than yesterday?

  • How many hugs did you give out this week?

  • How many hours of sleep did you get each night?

  • Did you get your 5 fruits and vegetables in yesterday?


Numbers can help you reach your goal. Make them the right numbers, whatever they may be.
